Calling for Nominations for The Purpose Prize
The Purpose Prize®, now in its seventh year, is the nation's only large-scale investment in people over 60 who are combining their passion and experience for social good. The Prize awards up to $100,000 each to five people in encore careers creating new ways to solve tough social problems.
The Prize was created in 2005 by Civic Ventures with funding from the John
Templeton Foundation and The Atlantic Philanthropiesto showcase the value of experience and disprove notions that innovation is the sole province of the young. It’s for those with the passion to make change and the experience to know how to do it. Nominations accepted until March 30, 2012.
Participants Needed for Survey of Executive Filipina Women
Constance Leyland, an International Business doctorate student at Argosy University is conducting a survey with the purpose of identifying differences between women executives from the Philippines and the United States values and if the differences affect their leadership styles. This exploratory study will examine the intersection between the two independent variables- values and leadership. A comparative analysis between the executive women from the Philippines and the United States leadership and values commonality will be used to discover where if the gap exists.
