Filipina Women's Network is going GLOBAL! We’re officially launching the worldwide search for distinguished and accomplished Filipina women leaders who ARE influencing change and making change happen in their communities, their industries, their professions, in the world. Africa. North America. South America. Asia. Australia. Antartica. Europe.
Do you know a Filipina woman in any of these places?
We’ve been told that Filipina women have migrated to many parts of the world and we want to know who they are, what they’re doing and how they’re influencing their communities.
We need your help in our search for the Filipina women who are impacting their countries and their local communities with their work. We want to invite the Global100 to the Filipina Summit on October 25th this year to San Francisco.

FWN Internship Opportunity: The program is designed to provide students, recent graduates and motivated individuals seeking career development through involvement with the Filipina Women's Network (FWN) as well as an opportunity for increased learning of the programs and initiatives to advance the activities, careers and status of Filipina women in the United States.
The Internship Program lasts from six months to one year (for the cycle 2013-2014). The FWN Board will screen interested applicants to determine academic or personal interest in Filipino culture and women's issues, relevant experience and career development goals.
If you or someone you know is interested in the internship opportunity, please send resume with cover letter explaining why you qualify to Filipina@ffwn.org.
Experience with social media, technology, attention to detail, and a passion for social issues are preferred skill sets.

The annual Pistahan Festival & Parade is coming up on August 10 & 11 at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, and what better way to connect with your Pinay roots than by attending this wonderful event? Put on by the Filipino-American Arts Exposition each year to celebrate and share our achievements, history, traditions, and talents.
Throughout the streets of downtown San Francisco, the Pistahan Parade will kick-off the celebration and fill the city with beautiful floats ripe with our Filipino culture. Afterwards, there will be a wonderful lineup of cultural performances, eating contests, and even a zumba flashmob! Excited yet?
