Filipina Caucus
@ the FWN Salo Salo
at Carmen's

Filipina Women's Network

Join us to dialogue about issues important to
Filipina women. The dialogue will explore strategies for civic engagement and advocacy for further learning of how we can get involved in the policy-making process.

The Filipina Caucus will explore on how we can participate in the US Women at Beijing + 15 sponsored by the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

Next year, March 1 through 12,  2010, government and non-governmental (NGO) delegations attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) will assess progress made in implementing the Beijing Platform 15 years since it was adopted at the Beijing Conference.  Prior to this assessment, several thousand women from 190 countries will gather in New York City on February 27th -28th for an NGO Global Forum for Women to deliberate and celebrate.
