You can view a member's profile by clicking on the member's listing within the Member Directory. When the member contact form is enabled for a particular member, a Send message button will appear within the member's profile.
NOTE: Members can individually enable/disable this feature. If you do not see a Send message button on a member's profile page, she has likely disabled this feature.
Clicking the Send message button will display the member contact form.
The member contact form consists of the following fields:
Clicking the Send button will trigger an email message from FWN to the member you want to contact. The message will let her know that she is being contacted via the website by you and will include the information you filled out on the form. If she wishes to contact you directly, they can do so by simply replying to the message in their email program. Her reply will be sent directly to you.
NOTE: To prevent automated software—known as spambots—from using the member contact form to bombard members with spam emails, an anti-spam Captcha feature is enabled on the member contact form. With Captcha enabled, a sender would have to enter a set of characters—proving her to be a person rather than a program—before being able to send the member a message.
